Occupational safety adviser Roger Bibbings said: “This is reckless and irresponsible behaviour. The city environment isn’t some kind of adventure playground.
Well Snappel and his boys carry climbing equipment, respirators and carefully plan according to his site so thats not reckless to me.

    Default Man climbs 450ft crane

It's only when you've read stuff like this that you can truly appreciate just how much of most newspaper's content is simply made up. The reporter says that he came up here with the sole intention of climbing the crane - wrong, it was a last-minute decision.

They also state that 'we' did the Tobacco Warehouse later - wrong, we went nowhere near it. It did not take 30 minutes to climb it and funniest of all was this... 'Urban Exploration supporters set each other challenges to climb buildings' - WTF? As if we 'set challenges'!!

It's this kind of ignorance that is rife in the human population, and probably why as a nation we get stupider and stupider with every generation...

Yes, there are lots of blatant lies in that article, as I've said elsewhere. The guys on Skyscaper City have come up with plenty of tripe on the subject too.

Any idea how they found out this info Snappel? Did they just come across a 'report' on here or other the exploration sites and make it up or did one of your buddies get in touch with the echo?

BTW - I've just merged the threads and moved some posts putting the discussion into one place.

As far as I know they saw the article on the 28dayslater forum. I don't think Robsey talked to them, they just searched for info on the forum. In the last couple of months there have been about 20-30 news articles, but this is the first on Liverpool. I'm a bit gutted I'm not the focus of it though!! I've climbed that beast six times now!

You probably ratted them out to the Echo using your tele communication lense.
