    Default Vampires

Vampires was a play for today filmed in and around Anfield with some kids who went to St. Johns/English Martyrs including Tommy White, Paula Disley, Paula Pinnington and little muff amongst others.

    I watched it last night.....

Does anyone remember the filming of it off Walton Breck and Oakfield Roads?

Is anyone looking in who was in it or knows of someone who was in it?

My brother had a bit part in Vampires, I think he held the door open to one of the classrooms in St Johns and had one line. IIRC, he was paid around £40, of course he demands much higher fees these days.

Also, my great grandparents featured in Terence Davies film Of Time And The City, a still pic by Bernard Fallon titled 'Shawlie and Husband.'

So when do I get my star on Hollywood Boulevard.

    Cool

    Hi to all,
A bit late in replying to the thread but I know some of the actors. I also have a copy if anyone needs it. The two brothers were played by Peter and Paul Moran, I worked for their dad Tony in Moran Sound, Breck Road, who still owns Moran Sound in Gateacre. I'm not certain if Al T Cosy was the stage name of the joke shop owner, he also had a shop on Breck Road for a time. Tommy White played their friend in the film and they became best of mates in real life.
Some of the location shots are baffling, I believe they are all around the Everton, Anfield and Walton areas.
