I don't think Eccleston will be in it trees but i'll take a look.
trees. You mentioned in your first post 'Regent Street'. Subsequent posts seem to think you'll have meant 'Regent Road' (the dock road) and though there was a Regent St, it didn't seem to extend long enough to have a No.253?
Anyway, The Atlantic is only No. 160 (ish) forget the exact number so 253 would have to have been Seaforth end but isn't in the book.
Ged the person who is looking for this one had mixed the schedule Number for the property number hence we think it likely to be The Atlantic.
What happened is I posted elsewhere for the Eccleston pub and this second researcher asked about the one that post read "...Regent Street Kirkdale Liverpool in the 1860's. Publican was a Joseph Mulvey.." I had already asked here for my Star and tought I;d try to be helpful with the second one then it was pointed ut that they had mixed the numbers up some one is suggesting I try Old Mersey times site" I have not used that one before is it good advice do you think?
Sorry for any confussion

I am looking for the name of the Public House at 340 Great Howard Street, on the corner with Blackstone Street early 1900s
Also I would like to get a copy of A-Z & Directory of Liverpool Central by Paul Bolger, but it is out of print. Can anyone help please?
