Maybe the recent net phenomenon and all things electronic and small has detracted these kids' attentions away from the actualities of forming serious organised crime organisations (although anti social stuff is very bad), instead they make these vids and pretend, acting it all out.

The thing is, there are so many of them running around now that the chances of any of them actually making any success out of their criminality is slim to say the least. Non of them have experienced the hardships of previous generations, that has led to The Krays, Curtis Warren etc...., just bad role models and parenting. Lets face it, financially, they get all the hand-outs available.

Exactly. Real organised criminals keep quiet and don't draw attention to themselves. If I was an international drug baron, I'd live in a small flat with a beaten-up old Ford Escort. Then I'd stash all the funds in an offshore bank account. I certainly wouldn't make a video saying 'Look m8 im da illest drgz boss in da land zorzzz!!!1 chek ma weaponz an me b1tchz'.

People should demand that the police chief gets results or is fired, he is a highly paid government official. YOU pay him so you should demand results.
The yob situation was getting noticeable even 25 years ago when I left, todays yobs are the offspring of those yobs, they know no better because that is how they were raised. The problem should have been addressed years ago but do-gooders thought they knew best.

Yes the do gooders, who have harmed society more than corporal punishment ever could. Don't hit a kid of say 23 (kid hah) or an 18 year old whos 6'3 and built like a brick wall because they just battered a pensioner or a random person because they only need guidance and don't know right from wrong. Even though a 5 year old automatically knows when he or she is naughty, dosen't apply to these 'kids'. There mums and dads split up when they were 3 months old you see so there angry at society, so to compensate they go round in gangs and make people lives hell. Thats why there justified in there actions.

MEMO to liberals, no it dosen't, let them target your elderley mothers or grannys house and then say there 'just kids'.

yes, that's the way I feel - - I gave up having any sympathy or understanding a long time ago.

I don't want to 'understand' them.

We are all sick to the back teeth of it.

Default Norris Green in summer 2006 and Anfield now

Probably nothing to shout about but does anyone think that what happened in Norris Green last year will start happening in Anfield this year. For example innocent young lads being killed, turf wars etc. Probably won't happen but need to be cautious.

In all probability it will, there's a progression in behavior from anti social kids into teens who take it to the next level. They've been let down in a weird kind of way from our society of doogooders (mentioned in another thread) who have made us all powerless to do anything about it.

I dont think Liam 'smigger Smith was entirely an innocent lad, although he obviously didnt deserve to be shot dead. The reality now is that if you get into a gang and crime guns will become invovled at some point the higher up the chain you go.

Luke, it probably will. There have already been some shootings in Anfield.

    Nothing would surprise me anymore.

Evil prospers when good men do nothing. Maybe it's about time to bring back vigilante justice.. (Wait for the bleeding hearts to cry Foul ). If the police are powerless to do anything it's a viable option.
