I noticed that the Montrose club, Whitefield rd has been demolished - I cut through that way yesterday and was surprised to see it has gone.
Strangely the outline where it used to be didn't look all that big, yet the club was a reasonable size with lots of tables and quite a big dance floor and a stage and cloakrooms. I think there was a back room too.
You'd wonder where it all fitted in when you see the outline. (or 'footprint' to use the latest phrase!)
