    Hi All

    Over here in the US of A, your former British colonies, an "Outhouse" is a loo, an outside toilet; maybe it is where you are as well. Maybe this should be in the Public Conveniences thread?

    Will look forward to seeing a photo besides the one on the Ellis website.

    Hardly art in my opinion. It didn't impress me. Maybe it looks a 100 times better when lit up. I seem to remember a figure of £50,000 mentioned somewhere?

    This is a piece of modern art sponsored by the Guinness Trust who have been involved in renovating the ex council flats on Menlove Avenue. I have to say I'm truly astonished it has survived !!

    Considering that the panes of glass were deliberately broken in the greenhouse in adjoining Harthill where the Calder Stones were displayed, leading to them being removed for safe keeping, you are exactly correct, Taffy.
