Liverpool Tower Blocks - a set on Flickr
Of interest is the tower blocks in the style of Marwood Tower, which still exists, the others of this style that remain are the two that are close to town (Byrom Street) and Sefton Park (Heysmoor Heights, Mere Bank and the ones on Croxteth Drive).

Interestingly, while these were all of a 'regular' brick colour, there were at least three that were not. One still stands (Mere Bank) which has white bricks. The other two were Rock View (Kirkdale) and Grafton Heights (Toxteth/Dingle). I have wondered why these three blocks were "white" bricks compared to all the others, it doesn't really make much sense. Grafton Heights is before my time so I've never seen them unfortunately.
Also does anyone have any proper views of the other Toxteth/Dingle heights such as Grafton Heights, Sandside View and Mill View before it was double glazed?
Rock View, Seacombe Tower, Ellison Tower, Edinburgh Tower, does anyone have photos of these? Rock View especially as I have never come across a close up of this one at all.
Thanks.
