The Liver buildings, situated on the Pier Head of Liverpool, what a great site and attraction. Designed by Walter Aubrey Thomas - Opened in 1911, by Lord Sheffield.
I attach a couple of photos which you may or may not have seen and just show you how big the clock face really is in reality. It shows, the then Directors having a final Banquet on the clock face before it was erected. These clock faces are in fact BIGGER than Big Ben, not alot of people know that.
The Liver Birds are a cross between an eagle and a cormorant (the bird of good luck to sailors).
Please stay tuned for more pieces on Liver Buildings, also I have alot of insight onto the Goree, and the Williamson Tunnels.
