I would take what the Sunday Scum has to say about LFC with a pinch of salt.

If it was two Everton players fighting, would it be with a 'small club' (where's the wink smiley)
Made me laugh when I read that Bellamy attacked Riise, because he felt he was being "belittled." He's only bluddy 4 foot 6 anyway, isn't he?

Chris, just Googled, but all the stories are much of a muchness.
There was a seperate story earlier, involving Gerard and Crouch acting as peacemakers at another place and Dudek being led out in handcuffs, but that seems to have disappeared off Google!![]()

I heard that Gerard 'tackled' bellamy over the situation and Crouch acted as the 'long' arm of the law to difuse it.
Thanks, Dave. I did come across the following:
John Arne Riise's agent Jan Kvalheim has spoken to the player about Sunday newspaper allegations of a bust-up between the Norway defender and Liverpool team-mate Craig Bellamy during a club break in Portugal.
The News of the World report allegations that Wales striker Bellamy clashed with Riise following a dispute during a night out in the Algarve resort of Vale do Lobo.
Kvalheim told Norwegian newspapers VG and Aften Posten that he has spoken to Riise and Liverpool but will be leaving any comment on the allegations to Liverpool.
Source: Soccernet mostly reporting Liverpool's summer signing of Ukraine striker Andriy Voronin from Bayer Leverkusen.

It was another missquote from the News of The Scum. He attached him with a cheese and ham sandwich, not sand wedge.
There's no smoke without fire, something has gone on. Liverpool havent denied the story, instead releasing a statement from Bentiez saying that anyone found to have breached club rules will be fined and insisting that spirit is good.
