    Does anyone have any old photographs of queen anne place, off soho street, part of the four squares. Demolished in the late 70's?

    My dad is from soho street, and went to the friary school, he used to live in 8b queen anne place, loads of the family lived in queen anne place too, we have tried to find old pictures and have had no luck.

    I was born in Queen Anne Place, first landing just underneath where you arl fella lived.

    He spent most of his childhood sitting outside kings pub waiting for me grandad, who only went in to get the time (as if ). He says he remembers pat molloys well. Me grandad worked in keezers (dont know how it was spelt) it was the glass place in st anne street. After the squares they moved out to the country (crocky) it was dead posh then.

    Sorry, before crocky they moved to 1a Grosvenor street first.

    Tell yer Grandad Mary Harkin who had Kings Died about a month ago..I'm mates with Mary's Lad.

    My grandad died a couple of years ago, but my dad will remember her and probably her lad as well.

    Yep, they lived in the flats there. No problem waiting for the photies, me dad will be delighted. I am slow with the typing so am mixing all the threads up, sorry. One of my good mates was from gerard gardens, moved to croky and thn back to holy cross.
