Must have been empty at that time??
See the Holme's and Cadwallader's still living in the street. Also "Marsden" - not the same one though...

Vincent Burke was on Radio Merseyside today in the second part of his feature on the Wallace Case. Ged, he mentioned that post (I think you posted) which you said the DVD doesn't mention Parry. He said the reason that he didn't mention Parry was because most writers now don't recognise him as guilty of the murder. He also happened to mention the posting I made where I claimed he might have made some mistakes because of his age

Hiya Mark. Yes, i'm in touch with Billy Butler over general stuff so pinged him the relevant parts in this thread. I think his Parry excuse is a bit lame because he should get a mention whether or not as he was clearly part of the scene at the time and you can't just rule out the bloodied glove statement. Writers and the likes of himself should give the full story and leave it to the listeners to decide if Parry had any involvement in it at all don't you think. I left the age bit of yours in and added your address too

Billy will have had a chuckle over that - did you go all red?

I agree Ged - I don't think Parry should be discounted because of any evidence that might seem to point to his innocence. He was a suspect, so should be included in any analysis of the case.

Thanks a bundle! Yes, I went red alright!

Apparently Vincent Burke has a new book coming out in June. I don't know whether it is just about the Wallace Case though or other cases with it.

The Daily Post during the week ran a centre pages Liverpool Crimes special because of the new gangs book just out. The Maybrick and Wallace cases included of course. You can still get it from Old Hall street.

Sorry Mark, I think it was the Echo and not the post, it's just that someone sent me the middle section only and I had it in my head it was the post. That's the very article but there's pics of Wallace and the Johnsons.
