On the Billy Butler show today Vincent Burke covered the Wallace Case. He made a few glaring errors (maybe because of his age!!) I hope he isn't reading this!! He is covering the second part in two weeks.

Yes. He also mentioned "Herbert Moore" (should be Hubert). Think he also stated that the collection money was upstairs and Wallace's personal money was downstairs - should be the other way round - but I suppose this could be argued - we only have Wallace's word for that.

Vincent burke has the look and the voice for these parts and I hope i'm not letting that cloud my judgement of him being generally good but like you say, he can make glaring errors and omitions which for murders cases are not good really. I don't think much of his round-up in his wallace case dvd (not a mention of parry anywhere) or his stance on capital punishment being that it certainly didn't prevent killings pre abolition as that is something we can never know.
I don't think I've seen it - I went to the Radio Merseyside shop but they didn't have it...
