    Wonderful to see, Robbo! Thanks!

I can still smell the coffee beans from Coopers! Nice memories.

Robbo, I'm so glad you posted all these after tea-time. It's still making my tummy rumble a bit. Hmmm... so many goodies to choose from. They could've sprung straight from the pages of one of Mrs Beeton's cookbooks.

    ASSORTED SCONES....[a choice from]
Sultana, Lemon, Currant, Wholemeal, Soda and Potatoe!

    I also liked:

    "Pre War Strength Scotch Whiskey"

    "Hayward's Military Pickles"

    "Potatoe scraping gloves"

    Well done Robbo, great stuff.

Looks like Ged, Robbo's a lot older than she's making out in her photo?

When I used to come home on leave my Mum used to get Canadian corn cured bacon from Coopers so that I could have it with two eggs for breakfast, it was bloody marvellous. I loved the aromas in Coopers, ground coffee ,smoked ham, strong cheeses and all the other spicy things, combined to create a bouqet that would have your olfactory senses going into overdrive, thanks for the memory Robbo,
