Appreciate the praise, thank you. Love your 'haunted' images from around the parks, much creepiness

As I'm still up, how about this one? Feel free to accept other submissions if you think I've got too many in this months pool

Sorry, I can't remember how I posted my picture large last time, the best I can get is a thumbnail.

    EDIT: Ah, here you go!

Great shot scouserdave, where did you take it from? And, can you remind me how to post an image in my reply (like your picture) all I could manage was a thumbnail!

Don't worry - trial and error win the day

Thanks Lexy. Took it from next to the Woodside Ferry terminus. Stadium looks fantastic even if it apperars to obscure the view of the Cathedral. If you walk a few hundred meters North or South, the view is totally different.

    Fantastic pics again everyone

@Dave, yours is so crystal clear - is it the weather alone which determines the clarity?

@Lexy - where is that reflection pool?

Visibility plays a big part as well as time of day. The BBC reported visibility as Good yesterday. For the past couple of weeks its been mostly Poor and Moderate. Yesterday was an absolute cracker in Liverpool. When I left Luton yesterday morning, it was grey and misersable. Well......it is Luton, after all!

I noticed the clear light yesterday morning too. I was walking the dog and I noticed the hi lighting on the trees .. wish I'd had my camera with me.

I seem to keep following you around; First I went to 4 Bridges after you had been and today, I ended up at Monks Ferry! Great image though, I saw something similar but from a slightly different angle.

I walked around to Monks Ferry last week after paying a visit to the Priory/St Mary's Tower

    Hi Kev

The pool is in St. James' Garden, below the cathedral. There is a natural spring that flows from the wall opposite the cathedral, near to the Huskisson Monument, and it has the pool set below it. Well worth checking out, it was kindly pointed out to me by another photographer who was there when I was. Otherwise I wouldn't have know it was there!

Believe it or not, I've never been on a Mersey Ferry, having seen the views you can get I'm definetely going to have to give it a go. Thanks also for the technical advice, I'm definetely going to write it down this time!

Great pic. There's an inscription above the spring that reads:

    "Christian reader view in me,

    An emblem of true charity,

Who freely what I have bestow,

Though neither heard nor seen to flow,

And I have full returns from Heaven,

For every cup of water given"

Apparently, drinking of these waters was good for Rickets, weak eyes, crudities of the stomach and lowness of spirits. Sounds like the sort of thing I need on a monday morning before I start work

Kev: point about posting the date is duly noted.

That's a nice shot Kev, I'm guessing it was taken from either the Uni library, the new bio-science building or a high floor in the Royal? Probably wrong on all counts so do tell...
