Talking Old tyme poem of Liverpool

    Oh Liverpool loo,
    Luvvly Liverpool loo
    Outside in the back yard's
    Where you had to poo
    With newspaper bog roll
    You had to make do
Yet for all the hard times
    We wouldn't swap you.

Apologies folks. Mad half hour! It was all I could come up with off the top of my head . I'm not a Liverpudlian and I'd probably write the same about Manchester .

Thanks, moogaloo. This though I think is less of a poem than a parody on the 1974 song hit, "Liverpool Lou" sung by the Scaffold with lyrics by Dominic Behan.

    Talking parapoem

I know Chris. The song came into my head and the words just sort of flowed out of that, so I'll call it a poetic parody . I used to always be singing that song. Incidentally my ex-mother in law is from Bootle. Don't ask why she's ex: and it's not because she's from Liverpool .

    God bless.
