Great pics Gerard but could you have made them a bit better by climbing outta the car park and onto that roof, looks easy, I know you're getting on a bit but it's worth it if you've made the first bit o' effort. Besides, if ya don't come back, i'll ask Kate if I can have your chippie tea on saturday.

    Oh dear, Gerard.

I'm probably telling you something you know already, but you can get your pics transferred from your memory card to CD.
97p at ASDA for up to 200 files.

If my computer would let me do it, I would, but I can't at the moment.
I think it's got something to do with lack of memory.
I wish I knew more about the technical side, but I can't help it if I'm just a pretty face!

    Thank You Phil,
Now Im gonna get told "Serve's you right" here but I can already do that Phil..
I not too concerned about the Williamson Square ones as I can get them anytime..
But I had loads of great ones of the Workmen re-laying all the steps on the St George's hall over looking St Johns Lane..Im sick about losing them..
I just hope they are on my External hard disc doo daa..
This all happened before and Luckily enough I had just backed up every Beatles photo before my last laptop bit the dust..Days before...
Jaaeees..I'd never get some of them again...anyway...

And hears me spouting on about "Keep em yours"....
I cant even keep my own.....Serves me Right Eh...Eh.

You'll have to put a request out to see if anyone has saved them.
I've saved your old ones, Gerard, and if you need them I'll email them to you.

Phil,If you go into "My Pictures" you should have a "Picture Tasks" column on the left..Does it say "Copy all Items to CD" at the bottom ?

Click on any picture folder and this should change to "Copy to CD"
You wont get them all on to 1 CD if you are trying to copy them in "Copy all Items to Cd" as 1 CD is too small in storage capacity.

I used to do all that and end up with a message saying "Insert a writable CD" when one was already in!

Anyway, I bought some cheap disks from ASDA and it's worked this time.
I know the difference between rewritable disks and single use ones, but never realised that single use must come in different formats (do they?).
This is the successful disk (see attachment), so I'll get 100 tomorrow, as I've practically no memory left on my HD, as I download film clips from RapidShare.

I know the feeling !! It's happened to me twice in the past - I've lost stuff and couldn't recover it. I once lost some really good pics of Spain

I've been all through that as well ! Trying to puts images on disk and being told to 'insert disk' when there is already one in ! When our old computer was playing up, it got to the stage in the end when transfering images was pushing it too far and it eventually crashed and completely pegged out on us !

    Default Continental Market

There is to be a continental market in Williamson Square from 2nd August to the 5th, just in time for the sun to come out!
Stock up on those strange sausages

update!, the market is located in Lord Street
