One of the best places to take pics from is near the Tunnel entrance (if you dare)

    Cracking pics folks, thanks.
Marky, I think you're safe enough taking pics from the Manchester Street car park mate. LOL!

As Tony knows, one of my all time favourite streets as it was my second playground after our tenement square. The number of games you could make up in this area, you wouldn't believe - and the kids these days with Xboxes, 100 + channels and top of the range sports centres say they're bored. The mind boggles.

Great pics Tony and Gerard. Yes, I remember little Wembley, decimated now since they made that disabled ramp . Also the giants grave up Mill lane, should be in the myths and legends thread.

We'd also walk around the little ledge (outside the windows) from one side of the Walker to the other, if you fell off, you went out with Mary kill the cat. We'd also jump across that void, from the flat roof by the picton gasometer onto the grass verge facing it, the gap felt 20 feet wide when you were 12 but having looked at it again, it's about 4 foot .

We'd also play footy on that sloping piece of grass in St John's Gardens where there were no flowers, the piece at the St. John's lane end at the top, I think there's a flower arrangement in the middle of it now. Lots more things too.
