Yes, a bit of strange place for a bar too.

    Default PORTER STREET. L3

[Hello Pablo, & Ged, Yes, it's now been converted to "Elude" bar/restaurant on ground and 1st floor. Worked at this establishment from 1956 to when it closed down in 1972. Both sides of Porter Street (dock road end) was a factory making dog food, & dog biscuits. It also made "ships biscuits" which were mainly sent abroard to West Africa, and also the Faroe Isles. The Dog food side was taken over in the late 60's and eventually closed down in 1971. Still have memories of the place, even went in the opposite side only a couple of months ago, and spoke to the guys who run the office furniture side.
