I agree. Lescott left a team that finished 5th to finish err 5th.

However, we now have to live with 2 teams that can greatly enhance their squads next season.

We've both played them twice obviously this season. I would say that while City might have the best individuals, Spurs are more of a team and harder to beat.

I think Mark Hughes would have got them 4th place, stupid changing managers mid season, but we'll never know.

186 Million would buy 90% of the CLUBS in the prem, crazy isn't it?

Spurs and Villa have been 'greatly enhancing' there teams for ages Ged, Spurs always spend 30+ Million and thats without CL footy, I don't know where they get it from.

City will probably splash the same amount of cash again this summer, there chasing Nando for 70 Million too, they need Maureen, he can do a job with a pocketful of cash, he's been there and done that.

He's on double the wages though, I'm sure thats comforting him.

    Yes, you're right about that.

They were discussing on the radio this morning whether City would attract the top players now they won't be playing CL football.

It was decided that it didn't stop Barry, Adebayor, Tevez et al going there when it was nothing more than an off chance.

Yes - that'll be because of the wages of course

Its not all about the CL Ged, there still in Europe and on the European showcase, its a step up for them from last year when they finished 10th, and still got those players.

At least now they have 'some' European footy.

They have some very good players atm, all they need is a proper manager.

Tevez said last season 'I wouldn't join Liverpool out of respect for the United fans', so he joined City, think he was taking the pee out of those United fans?
