    Wink Roscoe garsfield

    Hi to Bobbymac of BC
I went to Roscoe Garfield 1963 - 1966. mr Bevan was the head. mr Patterson was the Maths teacher, Mr heady taught science, Mr Wilson PE. Did you know the schol is now a nursing home? Will try to send you a photo. Like the rest of Liverpool the area is changing no end. The old Salvation Army building is now a pub. The Regal picture house which later became a bingo hall has shut down completely. The junior Roscoe School is still doing well. Well nice to speak to you. All the best for the new year ...............Jay

pre '71 there was a nursery in the church hall on the corner of our street. after 2 days I got my coat and walked home saying I never wanted to go back. then I was taken to one further away on Gainsborough Road and I loved it.

theres a manual ?( i'm a 64 model), it's been discontinued ( the model ) a while now , I don't even think you can get the parts these days, but I reckon that theres nothing a valve grind , a rebore or a good lube can't fix to get it pumping back into action,

You just need rust remover and a good wire brush.

First time posting - can't resist!

Sudley Road CP - I was there when Mr Curl took over and it was still on North Sudley Road.

Belvedere - hated it, particularly the venomous Miss Britten.

Lister Drive - taught there from 1970 - 71. Loved every moment.

    Oh boy...here goes.

Banks Road, then St Ambrose in Speke, St Teresa's in Norris Green for a while, then back to Speke, then Cardinal Newman (Next door to the Holt Comp.),
Then Clarence Street (Civils) Then South Cheshire College. (IT)
Taught for a year at SCC (First Year IT)
    I think that's about it.
I still attend the big school of life
