That's what I remember someone telling me,but did it sell, and if so,who's got it now? It's common practice by some developers,to buy a property that's listed, then just let it fall down so they can then build what they want!

I beleive it is, I was fortunate to find the doors open a couple of months ago and workmen inside, they informed me they were making it safe from the inside , under instruction from the Council. I managed to take a few pics of the state of the interior, .......sad. I will post them up soon.

    Everton Library.
    Lister Drive Library.
    The Florrie.
    And so on.

They'll all probably go the same way as the Listed, then de-Listed Beaufort Street School.
    ie: Demolished.
I went past Lister drive library this morning. What a shame it is to leave that building in such a state.

My Granddad and his crew helped build Lister Drive. This is from about 1904. Anyone who wants to use this pic, feel free to do so.

When the smoke has cleared and the bullets cease.another soldier rests in peace. The politicians who caused the fight, rest at home no danger in sight

Hi Bernie, It's not in a very good state right now,and I'm not sure what the plans are for the building? I'll pass there tomorrow,so I'll get some pic's!

Not arf, and the baths (now fisheries/pet shop) could do with the grounds clearing. It looks awful.
