    If that building was cleaned up it would have looked just brilliant. Also the building at the end of the street to the left of the picture.

    hi Colin, any pics of the old southern hospital, i worked there for a while in the early seventies as an agency nurse

    What was the Southern Hospital ? wasn't the one at the back of the Royal is it?

    Remember going there as a kid to see the site for sore eyes ie St Pauls Eye ozzie and getting me some Harry Potter specs.

    This one of the Southern Hospital (Caryl St) is from the LRO collection and is dated 1906....

    The Southern was somewhere down past St James st way I think - I can't remember exactly, but you know somewhere down Dingle/Park place way.
