More participation in the election of those who dream up these schemes can only help get the 'transformation' of the built environment inline with the wishes of the people.

Oh ok. I'll stop moaning about everything in life then... coz I'm not entitled to an opinion. Maybe I shouldn't be entitled to healthcare either, because I didn't vote for anyone that might be responisble in making the decisions or maybe I just shouldn't even be entitled to breathe

    Breath?
When it comes down to it Smurf. Yes, you may breathe...in. Then, as with political action, you can keep the breath to yourself?
Simply because the fact is Politicians ignore you should not be used as an excuse to ignore them.

The Three Graces, three monolithic structures, created dead space around them. They were built on George's Dock. It would have been better to have left the docks and have the Three Graces on the same line as St Nicks church and Tower Buildings.

Nice one Cloin, another great photo. I remember the Pier Head like that. It always seemed dangerous and exciting to me.

Carry on! Perhaps by not voting for one of the big three parties, you aren't responsible for bombing Iraqi civillians, closing hospitals and schools or electing a mob of self-interested spivs who were caught with their hands in the till. Let these voters turn out and participate in 'democracy' once every four or five years because this, to most of them, will be the extent of their political action. The idea that someone (usually a bloke) can be relied on to solve everyone's problems for them and therefore should be voted for and left to it is a laugh!
