Ged,it wasn't a shop but a dwelling house...it was converted to a butchers shop by Galkoff.

Before the butchers it was a Hardware and a Furniture shop.

So it was first converted from a dwelling house to a hardware and furniture shop and then converted to a butchers by Galkoffs.

It still seems like it's never been part of a court as it's a main road frontage. Does daz have a map perhaps?

It's very old as diagonal wooden supports were used when it's equally old next door neighbour was demolished where now the new(ish) property stands.

Right! So what have these shops got to do with a lost village beneath Liverpool city centre as said by Tom Slemen?

I think to find a Liverpudlian Pompei beneath the streets of Liverpool is a joke Tom Slemen is having on all of us. Well, those foolish enough to believe in his stories without question.

57 posts on here already - and all of them based on one of Tom Slemen's stories. I had no idea that people took this kind of stuff seriously - even to the point of thinking they were worth rubbishing! I dare say it'll sell a few more copies of these works of fiction though, and fair enough so long as they are recognised as such.

As for the 'paranormal company', I'm wondering how much it costs to go on one of their 'investigations'... A nice little earner, I'm thinking.
In fact, this post could well be a promotional stunt for one or both of these enterprises... I hope subsequent entries, however, will prove me wrong...

[Note: This is a re-post of No. 19. I've just updated the number... Well, it's worked pretty well up to now - he must be proud!]

To be fair though, 18 of those posts relate to Galkoff's butchers somehow, which was nothing to do with the original post

That's right Ged, George has got us all fitter than Galkoff's butcher's dog, running around after all these leads.
