    Default Favourite flowers ?

I wonder what your favourite flowers are ??.....mine are daffodils and snowdrops, I love to see the bright yellow "daffs" along paths and roadways they are lovely !, after a long long winter these lovely flowers give me a welcome burst of colour, Snowdrops are wonderful little flowers, they grow under hedges ,in woods etc and signal the start of Spring.....My OH goes potty with me because if I had my way the garden would be full of these two flowers !, , I would like a garden just yellow and white flowers !...

Ok as for flowers... I suppose it must be a rose I rescued. It never get's any diseases and it is absolutely beautiful. Other flowers which I like a lot are Rhodedendrons and "wild garden" flowers . I also love most heathers too.
As for shrubs... Pyracanthus (the only plant recommended by the police) and Hwthorn. Both shrubs are good for quick growing, keeping people out and for birds to nest in.

You are so right about the Pyracanthus Zapps !, when we lived in Wallasey we where burgled !, when the Police came they recommended planting them around the garden, the thorns are huge !, plus the birds like the berries too

Bluebells and snowdrops are so pretty and delicate. Love most flowers except Tulips which I have an unreasonable dislike for. Love Babies breath which I think is called something like gypsophillia, but not sure. It looks like babies breath.

My favourite flower, I think would be a Rose. My worst flower, is a geranium. They always remind me of the old dear who used to live next door to us as a kid. She had lots of them. I always think they are an `old` persons flower. Even tho I am nearly `old` myself. ha ha.

My favourites are roses, chrysanthemums and hydrangers. I like to see a vase of cut flowers in the house.

I got a beautiful plant off my fiance, and the leaves all fell off and all thats left is the stems. (Oh just looked, it WAS an orchid.) ha ha. I watered it today, dont know whether it will get any more blooms on it tho.
