    Default Been to London

I have just got back from London !, we went to the Ideal Home show at Earls Court, whilst I did enjoy the show I cannot say the same for "the nations capital" I did not like London at all, and am so glad I was born in Liverpool and have never strayed too far away.........I felt at times I was on holiday again, everyone was "foreign" I hardly heard any english spoken at all, the Hotel staff , the bus drivers, the tube staff, the security at the show all "foreign" we could hardly understand what they where saying...all the people seemed really miserable and had no sense of humour at all !
On the first weekend of the show and what happens they take all the direct trains off !!, heaven help us during the Olympics

I am so sorry you had a bad experience. I love the Earls Court Ideal Home show and have been to several. Shame. Give it another try next year. I took my cousin one year, she came down from Liverpool to visit me for a few days, she loved it. We had so much fun and met so many friendly people offering us drinks and chatting. All Brits.

I have had a few days in London when you hardly meet a Brit too. Especially in the train stations. I feel 'back home' in the Covent Garden area and King's Road. All very British. I don't really care what language they are speaking as long as they are polite.

Again, sorry that something as cool as TCID was ruined for you.

Dear oh dear Squiggs. Not good at al. I've never been ti the Ideal Homes Show, but I lover London. I think it's the best big city n the World. I used to live in Earls Court in another lifa and it was a fun place to be. There were parties most nights.
