    Default Craig Charles

Craig Charles’ early career was influenced by his childhood on a Liverpool housing estate. His poetic social commentary led him to performing live in the company of other poets such as Roger McGough and Adrian Henri. He later joined the alternative comedy circuit which in turn led to appearances on many satirical radio and television programmes of the eighties.

Craig can be seen in Corry at the moment!

Got the series on Vid, gave up buying them again on DVD Brilliant fun is Red Dwarf.

There was once a time I knew everything there was to know about it. Now sadly, I don't have the time to watch them much

Coronation Street actor Craig Charles has been suspended from the soap after pictures of him apparently smoking crack cocaine were published in a newspaper.

Pictures in the Daily Mirror allegedly showed the television star taking the drug in the back of a car during a journey from London to Manchester.

A spokeswoman for Coronation Street said Charles had met producer Steve Frost to discuss the press reports and was advised of the suspension.

The 41-year-old, who plays cabbie Lloyd Mullaney, was suspended with immediate effect pending further investigations, the spokeswoman said.

"No immediate decision has been taken on the length of the suspension as further inquiries need to be made," she said. "Craig has no comment to make to the press at this stage," she added.

Anything to say about this or celebrity drug taking in general?

I feel that Corry bosses should not sack him for this, if they did, well, a lot of Professional footy players, models, fellow actors, musicians should have the same fate. Bet that would'nt happen though.

Kate Moss seems to have come out better for it but there's no way he will.
