    What about posting some then pictures and seeing if someone can post the associated now picture ?

    Great pic's Jimmy! County rd,and Everton valley are still quite recognisable,but Everton brow/Netherfield rd,look like another place,but I suppose they are now !!

    Is this the same St Georges Hill - I'm guessing as I don't know around Everton.

    They should rebuild the top two floors without the tall chimney stacks - well at least a similar looking façade. That would look good.

    What I miss is the old shop front. The awnings were superb giving great atmosphere. Modern shop fronts are absolutely awful. Cheap and nasty. They have no idea how to attract people.
    Half of em are still there, boxed in by the new signs. I think its down to laziness these days ie the shopowners can't be arsed pulling em out,they did two things saved joe public getting drenched and kept the sun out of the window displays.
