    Colin, do you have any info' on the shop in London rd,that fairly recently,had some signage exposed which had Everton toffee connections? There was some talk of restoration,at the time,but nothing has happened!It was used as a butchers shop,but I think that it's empty now.

    Love pulled toffee.. and the smell is terrific.. I remember when I was a little girl, that my mum let us make it one Christmas.. I burnt me fingers on the hot wonderful mixture...but, kept pulling it to form a wonderful candy...
