That was called the Black Dog qg. That walkers sign has only recently been unearthed from behind an old arthur maiden sign after about 20 years.

The Nook pub, Nelson Street is about to lose its' scruffy look. It was surrounded by scaffolding last week. Looked like it was getting done up.
The Penny Farthing, St Johns Market, had a 'Closed' sign outside, last week.

Looking up at the Gibbs Mew Brewery sign. The Bridge Inn/Hotel pub, Alfred Street/Picton Road.
I've only ever seen one other Gibbs Mew sign. It was somewhere in Bootle last year. I searched again a couple of weeks ago, but couldn't locate it. Anyway it was somewhere between the Dock road and Millers Bridge and about a square mile, heading North. Maybe I missed it, or the pub has been demolished/re-developed.

The Lamb, Wavertree: Planning Notice on nearby lamposts, state...West wing to be re-built.

Great Eastern, Mill Street: Currently getting cleared-out ready for demolition.

The Cambridge, Picton Road: The name-board has fallen off to reveal most of the brewery name

You wonder if that sign was taken down before demolition or it went in the skip.
