    Orrys on Rice Lane,Walton. This was originally a Martins Bank built in 1898
    It has changed it`s name a couple of times once being known as The Elite

    I've been told the St Hilda in Walton Rd is going to close in May & be demolished shortly after

    I don't know why so many pubs are closing down. Everywhere you go there are pubs boarded up.

    I'll have to get those two pubs above!

    Is The Holt in Kensington going to be pulled down?? I see that the adjoining row is set to be cleared but the plans don't shed any light on the future of the pub!

    The Wirral Globe had a story on this, the theory is that if a pub is able to remain competitive, they need to be more flexible than serve ale. Several pubs over this side have also closed with others feeling the strain.
