Aigburth Vale: Ye Olde House at Home and Traveller's Rest

On Page 81 of Freddy O'Connor's Pub on Every Corner Volume 2: South Liverpool, he talks about these 2 pubs. Does anyone know where they were exactly?

I used to go in the Olde House at Home in the early 60's , known locally as 'Clems', the landlord was a Mr. Clement Veale. Nice friendly pub but very small. Going up Aigburth Vale from Aigburth Rd. the Travellers was first and the Olde House just after both on the left. I believe they are now both private residences.

Daisy, see page 2, message 36 of this very thread. This pair of neighbouring pubs are now private residences. Before and after pics are on my pubs page of my website.

Around the corner from the Victoria pub, Victoria rd (you can see the backs of them from there in fact) - go down the little street that leads to Sefton Pk, I think there's a newsagents on it, then turn right and go along to the end near the flats.
