Are the triton and the beehive still on paradise street after all the works or are they gone now
The Beehive is still there, then a couple of shops.
Everything else was demolished until you get to the Eagle, which remains.
triton was a bass house, 5 steps up to the front door, used to have a beer there after getting of the iom boat before jumping the bus home, the beehive was good for a few swift halfs on a saturday afternoon with my girlfriend as they had some nice comfy couches you could spread out on.
The Triton was on one of our weekend 'crawls' and was where we popped into on my wedding day (from the Moat House) in that in between period between the breakfast and the night time disco. Does anyone have any pics of it?
Not Liverpool in particular, but the results of drinking too much - have fun:

.
Someone somewhere here was looking for the Mile End pub and the Everton Vaults, can't find the requests even via the search facility so i'll just pop em' on here until they're stumbled across.
From Freddy O'Connor's 'A pub on every corner' vol 4.
Coopers looks like a nice warm get away.. Nice pics...
tad off topic but i was working in london in 1988, and went for a boys night out in soho , we went in many bars clubs etc , but the best one was a bar that had a sign outside that read, ' we serve warm ale and lousy food", the place was chocker.
Anybody remember a pub on Boaler St run by the Murray family? After John (I think) Murray died it was run by his wife, Hilda. For a while she was helped by her son, also called John but known universally as 'Ginger'.
This would have been late 70's and early 80's.
