A few more pubs from the weekend...

The Edinburgh and the FairfieldPrescot Road, Kensington. Two pubs opposite Prospect Vale close to the border with Old Swan. I would imagine that these two buildings are quite old and may date from when the road was a stagecoach route out of the city to the likes of Warrington and St Helens.

The Earl Marshall, Earle Road, Edge Hill Not the best image but it is boarded up. It wasn't a pleasant experiance beong round here as the pub sign was squeeking in the wind. I could hear it whilst I walked up Mulliner Street where all the houses are derelict. It was a rather eery but fitting sound.

What we need to do is make a list of pubs featured already. Anyone got a spare hour?

All the Pubs around Earl, Lawerence and Wellington road nearly end up always opening and reopening!

I wonder If some close them and damage them on purpose when they're low on cash and get money off their Insurance.

Some dude my dad sold his shop too did that with his pub once except he set It on fire. It's one on Lark Lane opposite the black pub that used to be the Masonic.

The Railway Inns got a new pub sign now too so as soon as theres a blue sky I'll take a pic of it.

I got the old sign In my Flickr though.

The Willobank On Smithdown has a new one too after their old one was probably worn out.

Default Won't be too much longer before the Doggy goes...

When I lived in Crocky in the 80's it was my local. Always remember a window getting put in one night and someone broke out into a rendition of 'how much is that window in the doggy!'.
