This is a bit of a toughy, but has anyone perchance got a picture of the Vine Hotel, corner of Vine and Faulkner streets. This pub would have been demolished in the late 70's- early 80's

There won't be any pubs left at this rate - 2 more torched - Seaforth this time.
I've lost count now how many have been torched in the last month. On average 2 in nearly all districts ... let's see, West Derby, Huyton, Formby, Walton, where else have I left out ? The former Setter & Vine reduced to a shell and about to be demolished - what is going on !! ??

The former Setter & Vine ( I think it had a more recent name but I don't know what it was).

This is one of the many pubs burnt out during recent months.

It looks like an ancient ruin on the horizon ! !

Jeeze, looking through here you are wondering how many pubs are gonna be left. I remember going to pubs for dart matches and in those days the pubs were never empty. You had a pint on the way home, had some dinner, got changed and went back to the pub. These days even weekend business starts later and later.

I always remember the Tetley huntsman with the monecule and pint in his hand so if he is still there he is well over 50 !
Oh as I was young and easy in the mercy of his means,
Time held me green and dying
Though I sang in my chains like the sea.

Don't think its been mentioned in this thread but the recently refurbished Copplehouse pub in Fazakerley closed suddenly three weeks ago.

I pass it going to and from work and one afternoon it had been freshly boarded up!
