    There's a very large mural at the bottom of Dingle Steps. Here's some details that caught my eye:

    Toxteth riots


    IGF Dome


    Pig memorial


    Pink Floyd, The Wall

    The slogan 'Fear Builds Walls' was also on the Roger Waters' pig at the Echo Arena

    When I lived in Los Angeles a friend came up with his own measure of how nice a neighbourhood was...

    A low GPM count (Graffiti Per Mile)...

    In Los Angeles it also could signify a major gang presence....

    I personally think it's a blight, but all of that creative energy can be put to good use with the permission of property owners and suitable sites. Just turn it into real public art.
