    Default Little Liverpool Gem

If you are ever in town in the vacinity of London Road, Pop in to the bookshop at the bottom left, just before Lime Street.
You will find this unique little gem. It is not normally switched on but I am sure if you offer to buy a book they will show you, if you ask nicely.

Two pictures, one with the normal lights switched off!

Been in there, he used to be in the row of shops just demolished at Lime St/Concourse House. The place he's in now used to be Brown's the jewellers.

The bookshop used to be in Berry Street before moving to Lime Street, used to spend many a lunch hour browsing there.

I have but I still go in from time to time, I need a fix now and then. (Nothing like the smell of a musty book!)

Mart knows that feeling Samp. He keeps his 'Men only' in the shed away from err indoors.

I really like this shot. The focus is quite good, with good depth of field.

What an unusual light fitting. I've been in there a few times and never noticed it. Those of us over forty will remember Mr Benn...perhaps it's a teleport machine; a beam-me-up-Scotty device which jumps you to any part of the world, at any time in history, or just maybe...it's a light fitting from grander days?
