    Hi Guys
    Thanks for those pics of my husbands birthplace.
    He's going to be amazed at seeing the tennies again.
    Hubby's family had moved there from under the bridge then onto Speke for bigger accomodation as the family grew.
    l had school friends there too.

    We don't seem to have many images of the early Corporation Dwellings.
    Is this going to be the right thread, or should we have pre-1930s in a different thread?

    This is Northumberland Street.
    Built 1913.

    nice one, didnt see this thread first time round

    some of you may have seen mine and my mates model of the crown street railway yard, which includes a corner of myrtle gardens that i built last month,




    it wasnt quite finished when this pic was taken, and its a poor shot sorry
