In October, I was in Warrenpoint and Rostrevor, across Carlingford Lough from the Republic of Ireland, and the phone kept thinking I was in the Republic, with the result that any UK phone number I wanted to call, including those in Northern Ireland, I had to dial as if I was calling from the Republic.
