Excellent as aways, GD. Are all these from one trip ?

Anyone know if the wind ever dies down up there ?

Great pictures guys. Clear shots there Joe. I'm getting my good camera out soon. I'll put me shots up, you can give me some hints and tips.

Across the river, if viewed large you`ll just make out the wind farm in the bay

    Towards Tranmere oil jetty

Notice all the churches on Princes Rd. top right corner

Thanks GD. Good shots. I like the way you added the road names.

These were all taken on July 26th soon after the Thursday evening openings began. I only have a fairly basic compact camera, but was lucky to be there on an evening when there was a quite spectacular sunset.

It worth the climb up not just for the views but for the vertigo of looking down on the Liverpool Tardis

Spot the differences over 45 years in picture number 3 vs. this picture I posted a while ago from a slightly higher viewpoint...
