    Smile St. Marys church...

    ...on Aigburth Rd. in Grassendale.

    I found this old postcard with a picture of the church.
    Not much has changed, and a very quick glance might have this as a modern picture..... but this is an old photo, with the tram wires overhead, and was taken before the church hall was built - which replaced the house on the left of the picture.

    I think the church hall was built in the 20's...



    The bus stop - the little square sign on the middle post - for the Garston/Speke bus is still in the same place...
