Street performers

I came out of the side exit of Marks, turned right towards Church St and noticed a memorial stone set in the pavement. Didn't have a camera for a photo, but if I remember it was dedicated to a lady street singer called (?) Dance, who used to sing there.

Anyone know anything about her?

Just that her name was "Teddy" Dance! She used to play a piano for charitable causes,near the plaque,till the late 80's,early 90's.(possibly later,though!)
