This, I read, is the Resurgam II. The first being a design for a one-man vessel nicknamed the Curates Egg.
The name is Latin for, "I shall rise again".
[I wonder what the Latin might be for I shall rise again and again? ]

Is there a plan to raise the original submarine Resurgam? It is fully intact and should not be much of job to renovate.

    Default DREDGERS?

Saw these boats moored up in South Bramley Moor dock, which I presume are all dredgers? With most dock traffic going to Seaforth, these day's,I wouldn't have thought they would have much to do,but maybe the oil tankers at Elmsmere port, keep them busy!

ID:	16400I sailed on the Sand Swan in 1989, she was old then. She is not designed to dredge docks. She is a suction dredger for agregates for the building trade. She goes out to sea to designated patches, by the Min of Ag & Fisheries, to dredge by a 100 foot pipe for sand and stone.
She is or was owned by Ready Mixed Concrete Co. the same company that owned the infamous BOWBELLE.

That pic' shows the pipe on the "Sand Swan" quite clearly, but how about the other boats, they all look a similar design?

just wondering if anyone else is going to see the queen victoria on monday ??
i think it's in about 9 ish, i've got a ticket booked on the ferry to go and meet her, and follow her back into dock.

very excited and camera batteries are charged and memory cards waiting to be filled.

if anyone is in area day or night, might be nice to have a walk down.

    Enjoy, Malc x
