I doubt it. HDR is the new cheap and nasty MS Office WordArt
Blabbs' pic looks like the Shadow/Highlights were tweaked and a cracking pic it is too.

Rob, sorry I couldn't meet up with you. I was supposed to be going up there this past w/e, but the Manager and Coach of our lad's team got into a "disagreement" during practice last week and kicked the shiite out of each other! As we are now minus one Coach, I offered to look after them for their game on Sunday. Never again! Teenagers are scum! It's official. Still won 2-5 though

    Cracking pics Rob

    Bunny,

I was thinking about that view today! And towards the harbour with the wind turbines. I regret not taking a pic but after 5 or 6 pints, arsing around with that stupid bag inside a bag takes away the incentive. BTW, on the way back to the bus station I literally caught my bus within seconds of it leaving (witohut another for over an hour.) Fortunately I jumped over the barrier on Lord Street and walked through the PSDA site. LOL! My shoes were covered in cement when I got home.

    Dave,

Thanks for the comms. I think Pete is referring to High Dynamic Range (HDR) where a range of exposures are merged for the same image. You will no doubt know it as exposure bracketing. I'm not as savvy as you in PS so HDR is useful to me- espeically in crappy light conditions. I just shoot in RAW and then merge the different exposures using Photomatix. Comes in useful on days like Saturday when the light was annoying at the waterfront. Looks slightly unreal though.

You'll have to join Bunny and I for the next time. I could use some tips.

Cheers Rob. If you and Bunny ever fancy a walkabout around Central Docks, let me know.

I've been meaning to explore the Central Docks for ages. I think you can access it when they have the Heritage Market on Sundays? I think it might be err.. out of bounds like..
