due to the height of the trees on the school field at the bottom of our garden I don't see sunsets like this anymore.

bore yourself silly at my Flickr page...anorak central!
Inspired by other peoples work, I thought I'd have a go after playing around with me camera this evening! It's been a learning curve but I am quite chuffed with some of the results. If you don't have a tripod...walls, railings, fences, postboxes and bus stops are good things to lean on. I even had a go on a traffic bollard!
Station Road, Liscard Toward Cliff Road.
Torrington Road, Liscard Wallasey Road is in the distance whilst Marlowe Road United Reformed Church is off to the left.
Marlowe Road, Liscard The floodlit St Hillary's Church can just be seen in the distance when viewed from the corner of Torrington Road.
St Albans Road, Liscard A little burred as I was leant on a seat at the time...it was angled toward the sky! Not the direction I wanted!
Wallasey Road, Liscard Liscard Town Centre at night...our brand new KFC is just off to the left!
Wallasey Road, Liscard On a bit of a slant...oh well.
Seaview Road, Liscard A Cross River bus appears blurred and see-through to the right whilst we look down toward Liscard Town Centre
Belvidere Road, Liscard Somewhat elevated! I was standing on tiptoes whilst leaning on a bus stop time table unit! Quite an interesting experience!
Belvidere Field, Liscard A final look over to St Hillary's Church from Belvidere Field.
Somewhat of a different take on night photography; I must say it was quite enjoyable walking round Liscard taking pics; it's not something I've ever done before!
Kebabman: Your waterfront views are exceedingly good...Like yourself, I get to see similar views everyday...but from the 409 in Seacombe (potentially one of the best bus routes in the Wirral!) Keep up the good work mate! I must pay a visit to your eatery at some point! If your food's as good as your photography, i'll be in for a treat!

Apologies for the durge in updates!
well done. I've tried the night scenery setting on mine, but like you said it's finding summat stable to put the camera on.
when there's a lot of light about I can get reasonable pics on my intelligent setting. (that's the camera , not me by the way )
like these two...not very seasonal, but it's night
bit blurry
about 6:30 the morning the QE2 arrived. chucking it down too, but considering it's not the best camera in the world, pics turned out ok-ish

I know I've said this before but I love looking at your pictures we have such talented people on this forum. You help bring a little bit of 'Up north' to my southern world and make me smile thank you
To the world you might be one person, but to one person you might be the world.
