Nice pic. Do you know what they're doing with that corner there?

    Nothing at the moment.
The talk of a new road was years ago.

    Default Mecca Bingo, Dingle.

    Park Road.

    This closed down last week.
All the signs, etc., have been taken away.
This photo was taken on 29 October.
I didn't know it was going to close, I just decided it was about time I took a photo.

It's a big building. I wonder what's going to happen to it now?
It's the perfect site for a 50-storey tower block!
It's right next to the highest spot in Toxteth.

    That's an excellent idea.
The nearest Tesco in Aigburth Road has always been very busy, and is rather small.
Before the Park Road building was a bingo hall, it was a Co-Op supermarket called Leos and then Pioneer.

Deprived of its unique dockland waters Liverpool
becomes a Venice without canals, just another city, no
longer of special interest to anyone, least of all the
tourist. Would we visit a modernised Venice of filled in
canals to view its modern museum describing
    how it once was?

That was the one next to the Tesco in Aigburth Road.
It's going to reopen as Home & Bargain.
