Number four looks like the bottom of Victoria Road. By the old Chelsea Reach, the chelsea would be on the right.

Number three looks like Poulton Station. The bridge in the background is the old Mill Lane bridge. It would have been about early sixties, I'd guess.

Looking at it again, it the old Seacombe Ferry Hotel aint it. Nearly missed it with the canopy. There was never a bus terminus at the bottom of Victoria Road. It's Seacombe Ferry.

Ah, Clarence Street. Of course. Another picture out of context. I really should stop posting stuff so late at night- and maybe use my eyes first...

    Right.

After the air raid shelters were demolished but before the maisonettes were built. So mid-fifties.

You may be right there Holly. I would say late fifties, but it's a guess.

Nice photos. Pleasant Street is in Liverpool. Your photo shows its junction with Clarence Street and you can see the canopy of the RC cathedral in the distance

Liscard and Poulton Station closed to passengers in 1960 and closed completely to all freight traffic in 1963. In 1969 the site was demolished completely to make way for the Kingsway Tunnel Approach Road. Accordingly this picture will be taken somewhere between 1963 and 1969 and judging by the amount of overgrowth on the track bed probably in the latter part of this time frame.
    Hope this helps.

I beg to differ. I think its Seacombe Ferry with the old Seacombe Ferry Hotel on the left, and the busses parked up at the bus terminus.
