    Default Everton Brow at Night

    Can anyone recall the name of the sweet factory at the top of Everton Brow
    it was on the right hand side looking towards the River Mersey it may have
    been Barker and Dobsons re Everton nick name the toffes can recall the factory in the early 50ths.

    That's it Wallasey. I was using the word gay in response to Dave's comments about Sebo's walking stick and needing a haircut. I was actually chuckling and shaking my head at the same time when I read it

    Being the most politically incorrect person, I have only ever used GAY to mean happy and joyfull. Other uses people have found for GAY I still refer to by the adjectives of years ago. I like the language the way it was and don't accept changes without good reason.
