    Default Old Photo ID game

There's a lot expert knowledge on this forum, so I won't be surprized if someone doesn't recognise this building right away? In anycase, I'll post the answer tomorrow.

Your only clue is that it's in Liverpool.

Please feel free to add your own images. If this thread as been started before, apologies.

    Default I'M BUSTED!

    LOL.

I did wonder about the file name, but didn't change as it wasn't in the preview - oh bugger! I should've changed the filename to "postoffice_churchst.jpeg"

Since I've been rumbled. The results have been brought forward to now.

1st prize goes to Ged - well done for nailing it on the 1st post.
2nd prize to George, for having an honest stab at it.

And Cadfael gets eliminated for sharp practice - posting, having already seen the answer.

    Thanks for playing guys.

Full answer - St George's Church [rear of] with Castle Street in the background.

1848 OS map extract - orientated to the photograph. I guess the photographer set up his tripod on the tip of St George's Cresent?
