    Default Trace Your Liverpool Ancestors

This is due out January 2010. I've tried to make it a history of Liverpool during the period historians would be tracing local and family history so they can understand the period in which their ancestors lived. It is also a useful reference, as it is full of advice on how to use the record office, documents, site visits etc, with an appendix containing useful addresses/websites of where to find archives, societies, museums. As far as I know, nothing has been done in this format before about Liverpool, so I hope this be a useful handbook to researchers and those interested in the history of Liverpool.

    Hello Mike

The best of luck to you with this new book, Tracing Your Liverpool Ancestors. Your local history website is excellent, so if your upcoming book is as good, as I am sure it will be, this is a text and guide that will be very useful for persons who wish to trace their ancestors who came from Liverpool. Fine work, Mike.

    All the best
